First off I’ll like to say I went in for a transmission issue Juan jumped right on it saying it’ll have to be dropped etc.. that was no problem I was told it technically had to be rebuilt so I moved forward with ordering all of the gears and bearings needed. I was also told it’ll take 3-4 days it ended up taking about 3 weeks. That’s fine I know stuff happens. On my first run I noticed a pool of oil coming from what seems like the rear main seal so I’m guessing maybe they put the same seal back and maybe it’s not aligned. I tried to call that Thursday twice (july2nd) no answer so I waited a few more days until the 7th of July and sent a text with pictures and was told they done work on weekends so call back. I proceeded to call Tuesday no answer then called Wednesday no answer. I KEEP MY TRUCK TOP NOTCH I’VE NEVER HAD AN OIL LEAK AND I JUST WANTED IT FIXED THAT’S THE ONLY REASON FOR MY LOW RATING. The transmission is doing great tho. I will be seeking one of my local shops to correct it since they can’t be reached and they are 5 hours away from me UPDATE I HAD A MECHANIC LOOK AT IT UP IN VIRGINIA AND WAS TOLD INSTEAD OF THEM USING GASKETS THEY USED RTV(gasket maker )ON EVERYTHING.

They did great work on my truck in a timely manner also kept me informed on possible issues that I may need to look into in the future. I would definitely recommend them to any and all drivers in the area.

Excellent service! I brought my truck to J&J Diesel Mechanic and I was very impressed. The mechanic was fast, professional, and honest. He fixed my truck quickly and charged me a very fair price — didn’t try to overcharge me like many other shops do. He’s fully mobile, so he came to where I was. Pretty bad mistake these guys made on my truck. They quoted me for a new transmission and torque converter saying that they were bad, even after I pushed for electrical diagnostics that could explain the problems my f350 was having. They didn’t listen and said they did a diagnostic and this was the only way. Thank god I figured it out by myself, the issue was a $30 part that had failed that they overlooked. I don’t think they even tried to diagnose, they just wanted to charge for a new transmission/TQ after pulling codes. Charged me $300 for a “diagnostic” that definitely didn’t happen and would have taken $10k more without fixing the real problem. Unacceptable work and did not put in due diligence to find a problem before trying to charge big money.

In this place they changed my king pins, they damaged a HUB CAPS / SCOTSEALS and they are not responsible. They changed the seals on the injector lines and left many parts loose and damaged the screw threads to be exact 6 of 12. Gentlemen, stay away from this place. The mechanic is very irresponsible.
